Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certification Verification.

 

Medical schools outside the United States and Canada vary in educational standards, curriculum, and evaluation methods. The purpose of ECFMG Certificationis to assess the readiness of international medical graduates to enter U.S. residency and fellowship programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). ISS assists international medical registration authorities in obtaining primary source verification of medical education and registration credentials of physicians applying for their medial license in the US whose medical education was completed outside their jurisdictions.

 

Details of ECFMG Verification Report:

Completed Verification Reports will include the following information:

  1. Whether an individual is ECFMG certified;

  2. Date certificate was issued and date(s) through which certificate remains valid for ;

  3. Passing performance* on examination(s) for ECFMG Certification;

  4. Date of most recently passed English test;

  5. Date of most recently passed CSA;

  6. Name of medical school, country and degree year; and the

  7. Status of verification of medical education credentials.
