Sales Professional

Term: Full Time

 

ISS is a rapidly growing industry leader in global employee background screening, seeks best-of-the-best Business Development professionals to expand our international background check services in the U.S. and global market.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with new or potential clients in order to generate sales
  • Ability to use consultative sales strategies to effectively schedule appointments and/or presentations.
  • Explain to customers how our international services will help them achieve their objectives
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and potential customers
  • Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts
  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
  • Attend trade shows and other networking events to build relationships with existing or potential clients
  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of products or services.
  • Inform and recommend appropriate services and packages to potential or new clients depending on their needs

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communications skills are required, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Displays good organizational skills.
  • Good follow-up skills; see’s task to completion.
  • Knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Internet Explorer.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in building accounts from the ground up, beginning with cold calls to targeted lists
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota
  • Strong consultative/solution oriented sales approach
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • 2-5 years in a Sales, Sales support, or customer service role
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline.
